Privacy Policy

The short version: no accounts, nicknames only, and everything self-destructs. We built the product so that keeping your data would be more work than deleting it.
What we collect
- Nicknames — whatever you type; no email, phone, or real name required.
- Setup context — relationship stage, time together, age range, and (optionally) how you identify.
- Your answers — including topics you explicitly consent to before starting: money, family, intimacy, attraction, and your sex life (GDPR Art. 9 special-category data, processed only with that consent).
- Derived reports — scores and comparison text computed from both sets of answers.
- We use no third-party trackers — no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting.
How long it lives

Expired data is deleted automatically and is never served, even in the moments before deletion runs. If you want a copy, use the report’s download button — the file is yours, on your device.
Sealed answers
Your partner never sees your raw answers. Attraction and sex-life answers are double-sealed: reports show only aggregated levels, and the AI is instructed never to quote numbers or raw words back to either of you. Custom-question answers are used only for grading.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Cloudflare — hosting, serverless functions, and the database where sessions briefly live.
- Payhip — payment processing. Payhip (and its payment providers) see your purchase details and email; we only ever see an anonymous license key. Their privacy policy applies to the checkout.
- Zhipu AI (bigmodel.cn) — the neutral AI that reads both answer sets to run paid deep-dive conversations. Answers are sent for processing only when a deep-dive is active.
- Your browser’s speech service — if you choose voice input, transcription happens via your browser vendor (e.g. Google or Apple). Typing instead keeps everything local until you submit.
Your rights
Because sessions are anonymous and short-lived, deletion is the default, not a request form. Under GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA you can still ask us about access, correction, or erasure of anything tied to a live session: support@dowematch.org. Deleting a live session early: just let its window lapse, or write to us with the pairing link.
Children
Do We Match is for adults — 18 or older. We don’t knowingly process minors’ data; if you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we’ll delete the session.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it. No silent edits.
